Every day, the news brings new numbers of confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections, stirring the hearts of everyone.

As a professional investment fund focusing on the consumer sector and modern services, Harvest Capital is actively engaged and concerned about the severe spread of the current pandemic. Recognizing the immense difficulties faced by frontline medical staff, caregivers in nursing homes, and teachers stationed at schools during online classes, Harvest swiftly reached out to two invested enterprises - Jinmailang and Baby Food, both of which are also involved in community service. Together, they coordinated and implemented material donations to support those in need.

In this effort, Harvest  Capital, through the Minhang District Red Cross and the Huangpu District Red Cross, and with designated contacts at Huashan Hospital, the Municipal Education Commission, Hongqiao Town, Pujin Street, and other units, has donated a total of nearly 100,000 boxes of food and beverages. This generous contribution is valued at 8.143 million yuan and is directed towards frontline healthcare workers and vulnerable populations, demonstrating a commitment to supporting those facing challenges during this difficult time.

本次加华捐赠物资主要包括今麦郎拉面范、自热米饭、凉白开以及巴比食品冷冻包子、馒头、花卷、烧麦等食品及饮用水。在多方的共同努力下，克服了封控期间交通管制、人员管制、运力紧张、仓储困难等等诸多困难，目前已有多批物资陆续抵达上海，分送到前线人员的手中。后续物资也将于近日陆续到位。在上海抗击疫情最困难最关键的时期，加华携被投企业一起，实实在在地解决了一线人员后勤保障的燃眉之急，为前线“雪中送炭”。

Harvest Capital's donation includes a variety of essential items such as instant noodles, self-heating rice, boiled water, as well as frozen products like dumplings, steamed buns, flower rolls, and shumai, all provided by Jinmailang and Baby Food. Despite numerous challenges during the lockdown period, including traffic and personnel restrictions, limited transportation capacity, and storage difficulties, the collective efforts have overcome these obstacles. Currently, multiple batches of supplies have arrived in Shanghai and are being distributed to frontline personnel. Additional supplies are expected to arrive in the coming days. During the most challenging and critical period of Shanghai's fight against the pandemic, Harvest, along with its invested enterprises, has genuinely addressed the urgent logistical needs of frontline personnel, providing crucial support at a critical time.

It is worth mentioning that during the process of this material donation, we felt warmth coming from all directions. During the lockdown period, what used to be simple tasks became exceptionally challenging. Without unloading workers, volunteer doctors, known as the "Big Whites," personally stepped in to unload and load goods, tirelessly working for an entire day; faced with a shortage of transportation capacity, Dongpeng Beverage, upon receiving Harvest's request for assistance, actively mobilized transportation resources and promptly arrived at the scene to provide support; with scattered receiving points, truck drivers transformed into delivery couriers, navigating through small roads to deliver goods door-to-door; in communities under lockdown, truck drivers faced the challenge of being unable to return home but continued to rush to the frontline for deliveries; amid the busy frontline activities, volunteer coordinators in the background took on the role of material distribution commanders, coordinating efforts to ensure the smooth transfer and distribution of supplies. The hearts of everyone were closely connected, and collective efforts were directed towards a common goal. Countless touching moments made the seemingly insurmountable challenges during this special period appear less difficult. There are truly too many people to thank.

Years later, when we gather again, recounting our experiences and reminiscing about the past, it will undoubtedly evoke a myriad of emotions. May people endure and prosper after the pandemic.
