Harvest Capital Receives Thank-You Letters from Various Entities in Shanghai

Date: 2022-07-22 Views:

In the face of the pandemic, by rallying our strength and moving forward together, we can achieve the ultimate victory. Recently, various essential production activities in Shanghai have gradually resumed. Harvest Capital has received precious thank-you letters from government agencies and organizations, including the Shanghai Red Cross, Minhang District Red Cross, Huangpu District Red Cross, Baoshan District People's Government, Minhang District People's Government, Hongqiao Town Government, Pujin Street Office, Huashan Hospital, Shanghai School Logistics Association, and others, expressing gratitude for our efforts.

As a professional investment fund specializing in the consumer and service industries, Harvest Capital, upon Shanghai entering an "emergency state," leveraged its platform advantages. We immediately contacted our invested enterprises, which are also essential providers of livelihood security, including Jinmailang and Babi Food, actively coordinating and implementing the donation. In this contribution, Harvest Capital donated a total of 8.143 million yuan worth of goods, including Jinmailang instant noodles, self-heating rice, bottled drinks, as well as frozen products like Baby Food's dumplings, steamed buns, flower rolls, shumai, and bottled drinks.

In the face of the pandemic, overcoming difficulties such as traffic restrictions, personnel controls, and strained transportation during Shanghai's static management period was the most challenging aspect of the donation process. We are deeply grateful for the transportation personnel, healthcare workers, volunteers, and invested enterprises who helped us complete this act of kindness through collective efforts.

As truck drivers transformed into delivery couriers, healthcare workers became silent relay runners, and volunteers became commanders coordinating the collection and distribution of supplies, each vibrant individual contributed to improving the lives of others. The transmission of love has become a collective watch at this moment.

The enterprises affiliated with Harvest Capital have not forgotten their mission during the pandemic, actively fulfilling the social responsibility of national brands.

- Babimandu, during the anti-epidemic period in Shanghai, donated over 2.2 million yuan worth of goods and cash to the frontline. With a central factory of nearly 100,000 square meters operating 24/7 and over 1,100 employees on duty, they produced over 2.6 million bags of dumplings daily, providing breakfast for 15,000 frontline control personnel.

- Jinmailang has donated over 1.3 million yuan worth of livelihood materials to Shanghai, including 177,360 bottles of Jinmailang ready-to-drink water and 96,000 barrels of Jinmailang instant noodles.

- Laoxiangji donated 600 tons of supplies, transported from Anhui through cold chain logistics, and rushed to Shanghai day and night. At highway exits around Shanghai, they delivered take-out meals to stranded truck drivers, standing united with Shanghai in the fight against the epidemic.

- Dongpeng Beverage sent 500 cases of drinks to several hospitals in Shanghai during the pandemic, safeguarding healthcare workers. Amid nationwide roadblocks, Dongpeng Beverage initiated the "Together Fighting the Epidemic, Grateful for You" caring action for truck drivers, guarding those who tirelessly worked on the frontline and the economic arteries during the epidemic.

We witness that entrepreneurs around us, even in the most difficult times, inspire their employees with confidence, convey the belief in kindness, and spare no effort to help society.

Now, Shanghai has returned to its bustling state of traffic and people. Children can play and frolic happily, young people can breathe freely in the city's sunlight, and the elderly can stroll in the garden and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Even in the scorching heat of 40 degrees Celsius and amidst the bustling and crowded life, compared to the silent tranquility that sometimes goes unnoticed, the lively sounds of the city make people feel exceptionally fortunate.

Responsibility is heavy, and the road ahead is long. The fight against the epidemic continues, and we cannot be complacent. The impact of the pandemic may be more profound. As businesses, we need to regain confidence, practice lean management, and face challenges head-on. As individuals, we need to continuously improve ourselves, actively participate, and engage in the life we love.

With unity and determination, we hope that through the collective efforts of society, life can return to the prosperous scenes of the past. May the mountains and rivers remain unharmed, and peace prevail in the world.
